Although he didn't play in the band, Jeff loved The Bouys and considered the guys to be some of his closest friends for his entire life. He was in the process of planning this band reunion when he passed away in April of 2020.

Jeff graduated from Redford High School in 1969. He spent most of his school years at St. Mary's of Redford. He attended and sometimes DJ'd for those reunions for 50 years. 

He married Jo-Allison in 1979 and together they had 3 children, Matthew, Colin and Kelsey (Austin). Jeff worked as a writer and producer for WXYZ Channel 7, and later as a live events and corporate communications producer until his brain aneurysms  .
